planning and environmental
In terms of Town and Country Planning, I am able to represent or advise a range of parties who might appear at a planning inquiry or at a planning hearing. I have in the past represented appellant seeking to develop land, local authorities wishing to defend the position taken by their planning committee and I have also acted for objectors who do not wish to see a particular scheme go ahead.
This is an area which has always been complex and is now subject to wide ranging changes following the Planning Etc. (Scotland) Act 2006. By using the considerable facilities available to me in the Advocates’ Library, I can keep abreast of those new developments and advise clients with an interest. By way of example, I have attached some articles which can be downloaded by clicking on the Articles and Downloads page of this site.
